About us

To enhance and strengthen the institutional capacity of the local government system in Kerala to deliver services and undertake basic administrative and governance functions more effectively and in a sustainable manner, the Government of Kerala has formulated Kerala Local Government Service Delivery Project

The Project will benefit all the 978 Grama Panchayats (GPs) and 60 Municipalities in the State. Investments made by the GPs and Municipalities will indirectly benefit the entire population of the State outside the five City Corporation areas. The estimated cost of the Project is Rs 1195.8 crore

KLGSDP- Review meeting of Idukki district on 10-09-2015 at Arakkulam panchayath communitty hall




Secretaries and Assistant Engineers of 53 Grama panchayths, Municipal Secretary and Muncipal Engineer of Thodupuzha Municipality and Assistant Executive Engineers from different blocks of Idukki district are the main  participants of the KLGSDP review meeting.

Mrs. Josnamol ( Deputy Director of Panchayath), Mr. PN. Abubakkar siddique (Assistant Director of Panchayth), Mrs. Ranjini (District Planning Office), Dr.VP. Sukumaran (KLGSDP- Deputy Director), Dr. K. Krisnakumar (KLGSDP-Capacity building specialist), Mr. Aji Divakar D (KLGSDP-Finance Specialist) and Mr. Jomy (IKM-District Technichal Officer) etc facilitated the programme.

The officials evaluated the current status of KLGSDP projects expenditure from the data raised in the review meeting.

Panchayth Directorate office staff of Idukki, KLGSDP District coordinators of Idukki (Chandran R & Jins Jose) and Arakkulam panchayath Office staff etc. assisted the review meeting
